Sodium Be sure to keep your sodium intake low as eating foods high in sodium can lead to fluid retention. Which, in turn, cause the stomach to bloat and look puffier.
Fast Food This one is obvious but deserves a spot on the list! Fast food meals can contain more than a single day’s worth of calories in one serving. Everything is high in fat and usually low in nutrition.
Alcohol Now I’m not telling you to quit drinking cold turkey! A glass of wine is good every now and then. But overindulging in alcohol can add a few inches to your waist. Like fast food, alcohol is high in calories with little nutritional benefit.

Strawberry Lemon Detox Water
Keep cool in the gym with this sweet detox water recipe. Strawberries are not only delicious but great for the skin. The sweet fruit contains anti-aging properties and helps fight off carcinogens all while providing yummy flavor.
1 cup filtered water
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of honey
1/2 cup of chopped strawberries
1/4 cup of ice
- Combine water, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and honey in a mason jar or glass container with a removable lid. Stir well to ensure ingredients are well mixed.
- Add strrawberries and ice. Place lid on container and ensure it’s well closed.
- Place in refrigerator for approximately 2 hours to provide strawberries time to infuse into the water.
- Add additional ice, if you like, then enjoy!
